There are several laws in the State of Georgia that address issues for guide dog handlers and their dogs, in the areas of equal access to public accommodations, pedestrian travel and dog attacks. Visit the following website for the full text of all of these laws. Georgia Guide Dog Users continues to be involved in promoting legislation supporting the rights of guide dog users, as well as equal access for those raising puppies in Georgia for programs that train guide dogs.
